Ninja Van Celebrates 9th Years, Launches Ninja Restock

In commemoration of its 9th anniversary, Ninja Van Malaysia has introduced Ninja Restock – an expansion of services catering beyond the realms of e-commerce.

Established in 2015, Ninja Van Malaysia has emerged as a trusted and reliable logistics partner, delivering over 300 million parcels with a 100% nationwide coverage.

With the introduction of Ninja Restock, the company aims to revolutionise the business-to-business (B2B) restocking landscape. They seek to address crucial gaps in B2B logistics by incorporating essential features such as real-time parcel tracking, providing recipients with enhanced visibility and awareness of their shipments.

Through Ninja Restock, the company aims to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and transparency in B2B logistics processes, ultimately setting a new benchmark for service standards in the industry.

Ninja Van Malaysia, Head of B2B, Clarence Fernandez emphasised the significance of this innovation, highlighting the pivotal role of logistics in businesses’ operational costs. “Logistics typically accounts for 10 to 15% of a business’s operational costs. Take parcel tracking functionality for example.

That’s a crucial technology in e-commerce express logistics, given the multiple stakeholders involved in a single trip from the first mile to the last mile. However, this tracking capability is now absent in the B2B restock space.

As a result, recipients lack awareness of the shipment’s arrival time and are often unaware of its arrival altogether,” Clarence said.

Key features of Ninja Restock include nationwide coverage, speed optimisation principles, flexibility, and digitisation for transparency. By leveraging its vast e-commerce express network, Ninja Restock ensures comprehensive coverage across Southeast Asia, facilitating efficient goods movement through strategic route planning and tailored transportation methods.

Furthermore, the digitisation of manual workflows enhances transparency in B2B restocking processes, enabling businesses to identify and resolve issues promptly.

The implementation of Ninja Restock has already yielded promising results for partner brands like Faber-Castell, enabling a just-in-time approach to inventory replenishment and minimizing inventory holding.

This newfound flexibility empowers businesses to optimise display space and enhance operational efficiency, ultimately revolutionising the B2B logistics landscape.

“Since partnering with Faber-Castell, we have been able to offer a just-in-time approach that minimises inventory holding and prevents out-of-stock situations. This meant fulfilling smaller orders more frequently and overcoming rigid delivery schedules.

As such, we trust that Ninja Restock has revolutionised the logistics landscape for businesses and we look forward to continuously applying our expertise in the e-commerce express logistics to fill the gaps in the current B2B sector,” Clarence added.
