Dataprep has announced the cessation of office of its Chairman Dato Mohd Rizal Mohd Jaafar, after the resolution on his re-appointment was not carried during the 35th Annual General Meeting. This was also the case for two other directors, Puan Nur Zarina and Datuk Abdul Aziz who are both independent and non executive’s.
Dato Mohd Rizal is also a board member of Bank Simpanan National and the Executive Managing Director of Widad Group Berhad. and the Group Chief Executive Officer, Widad Business Group Sdn Bhd.
Prior to that he was the Group Chief Operating Officer, Finance & Corporate Services, Small Medium Enterprise Development Bank Malaysia Berhad and Director, Strategy & Transformation Management Office, SME Bank (2010)
Dato Mohd Rizal started at Bank Negara Malaysia serving the Banking Supervision Department supervising the Islamic, commercial and investment banking institutions (1998)
