Sapura Energy Chairman Under MACC Investigation, Group Appoints Shahin As Interim

Sapura Energy Berhad has informed that its Chairman has been granted leave of absence commencing 26 June 2024 following the ongoing investigations by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission regarding a matter unrelated to company.

In his absence, the board has appinted Shahin Farouque Jammal Ahmad, a Non-Independent NonExecutive Director of the Company, as the Interim Chairman.

Teh company reiterates that its business will continue as usual, including its ongoing debt restructuring efforts. As a responsible publicly listed entity, and comply with the highest standards of corporate governance, transparency, and
