EPF Becomes Substantial Shareholder In Aurelius

Reference to earlier annoucement by Aurelius Technologies Berhad, it has now confirmed that EPF has become a substantial shareholder after acquiring 34 million shares or 7.8% in the company.

Aurelius said it had wrongly reported before when it had announced on 12 June 2024, upon receiving a notification from Citigroup, saying that EPF has become a substantial shareholder on 6 June 2024 with a total no. of securities equivalent to 20,829,000 or 5.286%. Subsequent to this announcement, the Company continued to announce EPF’s market transactions as a Substantial Shareholder of the Company upon receiving further notifications from Citigroup.

The Company then on 19 June 2024 received a preliminary notification from Citigroup on a discrepancy of reporting between 6 June 2024 and 11 June 2024 in relation to EPF’s (1) total no. of securities and (2) corresponding market transactions.

Upon further clarifications it confirmed that the company made incorrect announcements on 12 June 2024 and 14 June 2024 in relation to (1) EPF being a Substantial Shareholder and (2) EPF’s declared shareholdings, arising from the notifications with discrepancy received from Citigroup between 11 June 2024 and 14 June 2024, which have inadvertently included EPF’s subscription of new Company shares due for listing on 19 June 2024.

Aurelius said it had on 24 June 2024 received a new notification from Citigroup that EPF has become a Substantial Shareholder on 19 June 2024 with a total no. of securities equivalent to 34,108,200 or 7.869%.
