Bursa Suspends The Trading Of Prolintas Trusts Shares

Trading of PROLINTAS Infra Business Trust (PROLINTAS Infra BT) shares was temporarily suspended at 9 am today following an announcement from Bursa Malaysia. However, trading of units related to PROLINTAS, or Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd, resumed at 10 am the same day. As of 9:40 am, shares of the highway concession company remained steady at 91 cents per unit.

In a separate development, PROLINTAS confirmed that several of its employees had been detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) as part of an investigation related to a construction project.

“We are fully committed to cooperating closely with all relevant authorities to ensure our full assistance in the investigation process. PROLINTAS remains steadfast in upholding the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance,” the company stated.
