Ringgit Opens Higher Against U.S. Dollar

The ringgit started the day stronger against the US dollar as global economic caution prompted investors to favor emerging currencies, including the ringgit, a dealer noted.

As of 9:10 am, the ringgit was trading at 4.7075/7110 against the greenback, improving from yesterday’s closing rate of 4.7110/7150.
