BNM Added US$500 Million To Its International Reserves As At Mid-June

Bank Negara’s international reserves amounted to USD114.1 billion as at 14 June 2024 which indicates an increase from USD113.6 billion recorded as of end of May 2024.

The Central Bank says the reserves position is sufficient to finance 5.5 months of imports of goods and services, and is 1.0 times of the total short-term external debt.
