Air Selangor Working On Recovery Process To Restore Water Quality Standards

The recovery process to restore supply following the water supply disruption due to the temporary shutdown at the Bukit Nanas Water Treatment Plant (Bukit Nanas WTP) on 21 June 2024 (Friday) following an increased colouration in the treated water is active underway.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor), said as of 8:00 am, 22 June 2024 (Saturday), the recovery process of water quality parameters is being actively implemented to comply with the water quality standards.

Alternative assistance through water tankers has been mobilised to the affected areas by giving priority to critical premises. Air Selangor is taking every effort to minimise the impact of disruptions on affected consumers.
