Ringgit Opens Easier Against U.S. Dollar On Prevailing Caution

The ringgit opened weaker against the US dollar today, as investors continued to prefer the safe haven currency amidst a cautious global economic outlook, according to an economist.

At 9 am, the ringgit declined to 4.7145/7190 against the greenback, down from yesterday’s close of 4.7080/7110.
