GDB Secures RM865.7 Million Contruction Job To Build Logistics Hub

GDB Holdings Berhad announes that it has successfully secured a RM865.7 million contract to construct a Logistics Hub in Seksyen 15, Shah Alam, Selangor.

This will be the construction groups second win to build a logistics hub, it said the wholly-owned subsidiary Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd accepted the Letter of Award from Strategic Sonata Sdn Bhd as the main contractor encompasses designing, constructing, and maintaining a 5-storey ramp-up warehouse with offices, amenities, and supporting facilities.

The 30-month contract is slated to commence in June 2024 and is targeted for completion in December 2026.

Mr. Cheah Ham Cheia, Group Managing Director, GDB Holdings Berhad said: “Winning our second contract to build a Logistics Hub reinforces our position as a diverse construction company with expertise across a vast range of buildings. This latest project strengthens our portfolio, which includes high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed developments, in addition to ongoing hospital and industrial property projects.

Also, this new win boosts our outstanding current order book to RM1.2 billion, providing us with sustained work until 2026.”
