Tex Cycle Johor Biogas Power Plant Commences Operation

Tex Cycle Technology together with partner Green Lagoon Technology Sdn Bhd have offocoally announced the commencement of operations of the GLT BP Power Sdn Bhd biogas power plant.

The group said the facility in Bukit Pasir, Johor, signifies a transformative step in sustainable energy solutions for Malaysia, utilising advanced technology to convert palm oil mill effluent into clean energy. This new facility converts palm oil mill effluent into biogas, significantly reducing environmental waste and providing a sustainable energy source. The centralised nature of the plant allows for more efficient management and greater scalability, setting the stage for future expansions and innovations in renewable energy.

The plant it said not only contributes to reducing carbon emissions but also supports the local economy by creating jobs and enhancing energy security. It embodies the synergy between environmental stewardship and economic development, reflecting the nation’s broader goals for sustainability and green growth.
