Pet Food Startup Going Regional With Seed Funds

Notti Pet Food, renowned for pioneering Southeast Asia’s first slow-baked super premium kibbles, has achieved a significant milestone with a MYR 2.4 million (USD 0.5 million) seed investment from 500 Global and First Move.

This funding has empowered them to accelerate strategic initiatives including the introduction of new product lines and expansion into the Philippines and Singapore.

Pet ownership in Malaysia is on the rise, with over 51.1% of households currently owning pets, a figure expected to grow according to Standard Insights’ Consumer Report Malaysia 2023.

This trend underscores increasing demand for high-quality pet nutrition, an area where Notti excels by offering 100% human-grade meat enriched with fruits, vegetables, probiotics, and prebiotics.

Unlike traditional pet foods that often rely on lower-quality ingredients, Notti’s products maintain nutritional integrity through a gentle 90°C slow-baking process, ensuring superior quality and health benefits.

In addition to expanding its product line and market reach, Notti actively engages in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs and charitable campaigns, reinforcing their commitment to animal welfare and community support.

Currently available in over 100 pet shops across Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, Notti aims to double its distribution network to 200 by the end of 2024, further solidifying its position as a leader in premium pet nutrition.
