Bursa Malaysia Closes Lower At Midday On Profit-taking 

Bursa Malaysia concluded the midday session on a downtrend, primarily driven by profit-taking activities.

By 12:30 PM, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) had declined by 0.23%, shedding 3.76 points to reach 1,602.37, down from the previous day’s closing figure of 1,606.13.

Across the broader market, negative sentiment prevailed with 834 decliners outnumbering 280 gainers, while 445 counters maintained their previous positions without change.
