Guide to Using Smart Lanes on PLUS Highways
- Smart Lanes can be used by light, private, or passenger vehicles.
- The Smart Lane is the leftmost lane.
- The Smart Lane also functions as a regular driving lane.
- Be aware of the activation period and length of the Smart Lane.
- Notification signs are placed at 1 km and 500 m intervals.
- Electronic notification signs are placed at the entrance and exit.
- The first green light sign indicates the start of the Smart Lane.
- Reminder signs are placed every 500m along the Smart Lane.
- Green light signs are placed every 1 km along the Smart Lane.
- A notification sign indicating the end of the Smart Lane is placed 200m before the endpoint.
- Another end notification sign is placed at the exit.
- A speed of 60 km/h is recommended in the Smart Lane.
- Drivers are advised to continue in the Smart Lane until its end.
- At the exit of Smart Lane, merge to the right carefully.
