RHB is the first bank in Malaysia to offer merchants the innovative Bayarlah Smart QR terminal.
The Bayarlah Smart QR terminal is an all-in-one payment terminal featuring an LCD screen and Voice Broadcast notification that further enhances the customer’s payment experience. The terminal also integrates the RHB DuitNow QR system that leverages on Application Programming Interface (API) connectivity, enabling real-time reconciliation of DuitNow QR transactions. RHB is currently in partnership with Beez Fintech in offering the Bayarlah Smart QR terminal to its merchants.
“The innovative Bayarlah Smart QR terminal by Beez Fintech incorporates a customer-facing LCD screen to display payment amount, while a built-in speaker reads out payment details and transaction status. In addition to the seamlessness achieved through API connectivity, the integrated payment terminal enhances the cashless payment experience for customers and provides additional benefit and security for customers with visual or hearing difficulties. We target to deploy 6,000 Smart QR terminals to our merchants within the next six months,” said Chung Chee Kai, Head of Group Transaction Banking, RHB Banking Group.
