Ramssol Group Berhad announced that it has acquired Geekstart Company Limited a company involved in generative artificial intelligence powered consulting software based in Thailand.
Geekstart does consulting and technica work and uses Nvidia CUDA, Open AI includign Microsoft, Google technology for its services in digital solutions such as IOT platforms, Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP) systems and software developments for both private and public listed companies’ businesses and portfolios.
Ramssol said the acquisition allows itl to leverage technical and commercial strengths in intelligent social communities, property and office management, smart cities, energy and waste management, education, manufacturing, and agriculture. Merging Geekstart’s capabilities into Ramssol’s 2 years strategic business roadmaps enhances their ability to offer advanced digital transformation services in Southeast Asia to deliver innovative solutions and expand its service portfolio, particularly in the aforementioned sectors.
The acquisition comes with a profit guarantee by Geekstart that the company shall achieve an audited profit after tax of not less than approximately RM4.70 million for FYE 31 December 2024, and a Profit Guarantee of not less than approximately RM7.05 million for FYE 31 December 2025.
