Thai Temptation Buffet Dinner 

Lemon Garden at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur is set to delight diners with its Thai Temptation dinner buffet, running from 6th to 20th July 2024. This special event will feature authentic Thai cuisine, crafted by guest Chef Puongthong Bangsangon from Shangri-La Bangkok.

Guests can enjoy a variety of appetizers, including ‘Yum Som O Pu Nim,’ a pomelo salad with soft-shell crab, roasted coconut, and crispy shallots, and ‘Mieang Pla Tim Tim,’ featuring crispy red tilapia with betel leaves and traditional Thai condiments.

Chef Puongthong’s signature dish, ‘Phad Thai Champion,’ will showcase stir-fried Chantaburi noodles with seafood and salted egg from Chaiya, brought together by a special savory and slightly sweet sauce.

Soup options include the spicy and sour ‘Tom Yum Goong,’ with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves, and the creamy ‘Tom Kha Gai,’ an authentic chicken coconut soup.

For mains, the buffet features ‘Massaman Kea,’ a tender Australian leg of lamb in rich curry with peanuts and potatoes, served with soft roti bread.

Desserts include ‘Tub Tim Krob,’ with crunchy water chestnuts in sweet coconut milk, ‘Sakoo Ton,’ a tapioca pudding with coconut flavor, and ‘Khao Niew Mamuang,’ sweet sticky rice with mango.

  • Friday – Sunday: RM 258 nett per person
